Social Mockup Lab ("we", "the Service") is a browser-based tool for creating chat, post and notification mockups. Everything you type and every image you add is processed on your own device. We do not receive, store or see your mockups.
Names, messages, captions, avatars and post images are kept in your browser's localStorage so your draft and saved mockups are available on your next visit. Uploaded images are resized in your browser before being stored. Nothing is uploaded to our servers. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.
If analytics are enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage (pages viewed, features used, approximate country, device type). Analytics events never contain the text or images of your mockups. Google's processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
The free version may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info.
Payments for Social Mockup Lab Pro are handled by a third-party checkout provider (for example Lemon Squeezy). We never see your card details. When you activate a license key, the key and a device identifier are sent to the license provider's API to verify the purchase; the license status is then stored in your browser. Your email address is handled by the payment provider under its own privacy policy and used only to deliver your license and receipts.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is sent to our email service provider and used only to send you updates about our tools. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
We use local storage for your theme preference, your mockup drafts, saved mockups and Pro license status. Third-party advertising and analytics scripts may set their own cookies, as described above.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Because we do not hold your content, there is nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf: clearing your browser's site data removes everything stored locally. For questions about analytics, advertising or license data, contact us at the address below.
